Its so healthy, it has 24 grams of protein every 100 grams, and it is amazingly delicious. It is so damn easy to make at home that I am stunned that people who go to the supermarket to buy it, because it costs literally four times of what it does when you make it at home. Trust me it is very simple. Let me show you how it’s done. So for peanut butter you need roasted peanuts And you can see, I have a plate of freshly roasted peanuts here. Now you can only take unsalted roasted peanuts. They can either be with the skin or without the skin. It doesn’t matter if you have them with the skin on. Do not worry the skins, provide an excellent amount of fiber and flavor to your peanut butter. So don’t even bother taking them off. So the peanut butter that we are making here It is going to cost you only rupees 30 a jar that is 250 grams of peanut butter if you go to the supermarket to buy the same amount of peanut butter, it’s gonna cost you anywhere from rupees 100 to 200. So to make your peanut butter you need a juicer mixer and grinder and you need the dry grinding jar or blade. If you are not sure which one it is, it usually is the smallest one that comes with the pack. What grinding does is brings out the oils in those roasted peanuts. So essentially what we are doing is we are churning out the oils in these roasted peanuts And it’s gonna turn into a really smooth buttery paste, which one wants peanut butter yes, it is as simple as just grinding these peanuts with a little bit of seasoning and your peanut butter will be ready. Fill the Grinder up nicely with peanuts. Don’t be shy to fill it up because when you grind it,they are going to come down. lid on and now blitz Now as you notice it has started to turn into a powder Make sure that you do not run your mixer for a long time Continuously because that’s gonna ruin the engine especially when you are grinding dry stuff So just give it small bursts of ten to twenty seconds and your job will be done Opening the lid up as you can see now it is turn into a really nice powder of sorts It is essential to season your peanut butter because if you don’t put salt in it It’s just not gonna taste like peanut butter so let me get some salt out of there. Half a teaspoon of salt. Now you can choose not to put sugar in it. Totally depends on your preference. The ones that you buy from the store are laden with sugar And I just hate that. So what I do here is instead of sugar, I take some jaggery so this is a really nice alternative to brown sugar you can also use your regular powdered sugar and try not to use crystal sugar because it’s not going to be able to grind properly. So let me just take a knife and I’m gonna scrape off just some tiny bits of jaggery in. To bring out that really smooth Texture of peanut butter we are going to supplement the fats With a little bit of vegetable oil .You can choose not to put vegetable oil But I like to do it just to get that extra smooth texture out of my peanut butter so not much Half a teaspoon will do. Back with the lid and blitz So as you can see now it has started becoming a little more Smooth in texture, so just little wild more and your peanut butter will start taking shape. Just about 20 to 30 seconds of grinding and now you can see it’s become really nice and smooth. So You can leave it at this stage or grind it even further to get more creaminess and smoothness out of your peanut butter. Look at this beauty it is done. It’s smooth and It’s fresh. If you are like me and you like crunchy peanut butter what you can Do is take another handful of roasted peanuts just A little, throw them in and then cover and give just one or two pulses not more. That’s it. I’m going to take a nice little jar. Put my peanut butter in and stick it in the fridge. The grinder is really nice and warm. So as you can see right now. It’s kind of smooth sort of a very viscous Liquid texture. Now once you stick it in the fridge for 4 to 5 hours when you cool it down, It’s going to look exactly like store-bought peanut butter, but it’s gonna be Healthier because it’s got less oil and less sugar, and it’s just going to taste out of the world. So my cute little jar of peanut butter is ready coming to the macronutrients Per 100 grams of Peanut Butter, there is 589 ish calories, which has 24 grams of protein.
