And after doing a few more searches on the Recipe Builder, I can see if I poach my egg instead of frying it, and if I swap streaky bacon for back bacon medallions, I’ll save 85 calories and 14 grams of fat. And if I ditch the frying pan and grill the bacon,
tomato and sausages, I’ll save even more. So as you can see, with a few simple ingredient swaps and changing the way we cook the recipe, I’ve saved 250 calories and saved 35 grams of fat. And I can still enjoy the meal, without the unnecessary calories. Here’s the thing, if you can cut 250 calories from each of your 3 main meals per day, that’s enough to lose up to 1.5 lbs per week and you’re still enjoying foods you love.
