The Trump Hotel and Tower will welcome its first guests Nov. 17.

Located on the corner of Kalia and Saratoga roads across from Fort DeRussy Park, The Trump Hotel and Tower is Oahu's first five-star hotel to be developed since the 1980s.

Trump said he's confident the units will hold their value despite a weakened real estate market and ailing visitor industry. "It's a concern for everyone. We all know what's going on and what happened in the world -- there's no big surprise to that, but those things come back," said Trump. "This is not a hotel that's here this week and won't be there next week.
